Dr. Fairey’s Wild Rice Chicken Casserole
While attending the University of South Carolina, I worked for Dr. Philip W. Fairey, Jr., and his daughter-in-law, Carolyn Muthig Fairey, gave me this recipe. It is sooooooooooooo good.
Wild Rice Chicken Casserole

- 1 Whole Chicken
- 2 Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 Jar Sliced Mushrooms
- 1 Box Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice Fast Cook
- 1 Pound Pork Sausage ((hot if you like spicy))
- 1-2 Dashes Worchestershire Sauce
Cook whole chicken, debone and cut up in bite size pieces
Cook Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice according to instructions on the box
Cook pork sausage and drain
Mix all together and put in baking dish
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes
